The Story Behind Softa

We are four friends from Stockholm, Sweden, united by our Somali roots and a passion for football, culture, and design. What started as an idea in October 2024 has grown into something far bigger than we could have imagined – and today, we proudly launch our very first jerseys: the Mogadishu Jersey and the Hargeisa Jersey.

From day one, we decided to do everything ourselves – from scratch. Every detail, every stitch, and every design element was created by us, with no shortcuts and no copies. Our mission is to deliver authentic, original jerseys that connect Somalis worldwide through culture and pride.

This is more than fashion. It’s about identity, community, and representation. We want every Somali – in Stockholm, London, Toronto, Minneapolis, Dubai, and beyond – to have a jersey that represents who they are and where they come from.

The journey has been intense, but we are hard-working, focused, and driven to build something bigger than ourselves. The support we’ve received so far has been overwhelming, and for that we are truly grateful.
